A solar return is a predictive method of astrology that can give insight to what the potential opportunities are for the individual for a year, from birthday to birthday. It can help the receiver to hone in on those potentials as well as to wrap protection around areas that can be unstable, so that one can find stability, answers, self-love and soul growth. Note this is a chart for a year.

There are many other predictive astrology methods such as transits (which would look for a day), progressions (which show how the natal chart is moving along during the course of life). These and other predictive methods may be up for discussion with Lizzi as well.
