Horary is a branch of astrology that deals with the question at hand. The individual may ask a question such as “should I buy this piece of real estate?” or “where are my keys” for example. The astrologer then casts a charge specifically for the question. The question leads the chart by its planetary rulership for that specific time. It is important that the question is asked specifically to clarity to answer. A birthtime is not required for this branch of astrology as it is question specific, but a “nice to know” if the astrologer wants to or is asked to compare the question to the natal chart. This comparison is another way to amplify the question as many things in the birth chart come to light when a transit occurs in aspect to the natal chart.
